Jurnal Praksis dan Dedikasi Sosial (JPDS) is an academic peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in April and October. This journal provides a space for academic debate and critical thinking to explore social sciences and humanities, as well as problems and social needs. This journal includes articles from research activities in social sciences and humanities, such as civics, law, history, economics, sociology, geography, anthropology, politics, culture, religion, tourism, and educational perspectives, including Citizenship Education, Geography Education, Sociology Education, Economic Education, Historical Education, Anthropological Education, Religious Education, Communication Studies for Educational Needs, Social Studies, and other relevant fields of social sciences.
To improve the visibility and accessibility of the journal, Jurnal Praksis dan Dedikasi Sosial (JPDS) has migrated to a new website. Before this migration, all manuscript management processes from Vol. 1 No. 1 (2018) to Vol. 8 No. 2 (2025) were conducted through the journal’s previous website at https://journal2.um.ac.id/index.php/jpds.
Since April 2023, this journal has been accredited Rank 3 (peringkat 3) as a scientific journal under the decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree 152/E/KPT/2023, 25 September 2023.
