The identified problems include suboptimal coastal waste management, limited pandanus planting programs as protective habitat vegetation, and insufficient packaging of conservation education for visitors. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with the ADDIE framework through field observations, in-depth interviews with managers and tourists, and visual documentation. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman’s technique comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the Interest stage successfully attracts tourists through environmental interpretation and digital promotion; the Action stage allows tourists to engage in conservation activities such as beach cleaning and sea turtle release, while the Share stage amplifies conservation messages through social media. However, implementation of the IAS model still faces challenges, particularly limited interpretation facilities, varying levels of ecological literacy, and the need for improved local guide readiness. The study concludes that the IAS model has the potential to enhance tourists’ ecological knowledge and empathy while strengthening local collaboration, although institutional support is required for more sustainable application. These findings indicate opportunities for replication in other coastal conservation destinations with contextual adjustments and are relevant to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan strategi rekonstruksi eduwisata konservasi penyu di Pantai Kili-Kili, Trenggalek melalui penerapan model IAS (<em>Interest–Action–Share</em>) sebagai pendekatan untuk mendukung pariwisata berkelanjutan. Permasalahan yang diidentifikasi meliputi pengelolaan sampah pesisir yang belum optimal, keterbatasan program penanaman pandan laut sebagai pelindung habitat peneluran, serta minimnya kemasan edukasi konservasi bagi wisatawan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan kerangka ADDIE melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan pengelola dan wisatawan, serta dokumentasi visual. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik Miles dan Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap interest dapat menarik perhatian wisatawan melalui interpretasi lingkungan dan promosi digital; tahap action memungkinkan wisatawan terlibat dalam kegiatan konservasi seperti bersih pantai dan pelepasan tukik; sedangkan tahap <em>share</em> memperluas jangkauan pesan konservasi melalui media sosial. Meskipun demikian, implementasi model IAS masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterbatasan fasilitas interpretasi, kesiapan pemandu lokal, serta variasi literasi ekologis pengunjung. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model IAS berpotensi meningkatkan pengetahuan dan empati ekologis wisatawan serta memperkuat kolaborasi lokal, namun diperlukan penguatan kelembagaan agar penerapannya lebih berkelanjutan. The research employed a qualitative descriptive design with a case study approach conducted at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Participants consisted of 1 history teacher and 32 eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis, and were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through triangulation of sources and techniques. The findings reveal three main results. First, existing history learning practices are still dominated by lecture-based methods with limited use of interactive media, resulting in low student engagement and superficial understanding of local historical content. Second, both teachers and students expressed a strong need for visual, contextual, and environmentally oriented learning media, particularly for complex historical topics such as Muara Takus Temple. Third, the proposed model made from recycled materials has the potential to enhance students’ conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and environmental awareness, although challenges related to technical production and teacher readiness remain significant. This study concludes that the development of a Green History–based temple model is pedagogically relevant and urgently needed, as it integrates historical understanding with sustainability values. However, there are still many problems related to history learning at high school level, such as students feel bored, history teachers lack of historical insight, monotonous learning, history books merely discuss historical facts and emphasizing less on multiculturalism. In addition, there is a new policy on in-depth learning that many history teachers have not understood, particularly history teachers in Malang. Hence, it is crucial to provide insight to history teachers by holding a workshop on developing multicultural-based e-modules for history learning fitted with the In-Depth Learning curriculum. This community service aims to develop multicultural-based e-modules for history learning that are used by high school teachers and students. Also, it is conducted to provide teaching materials that foster tolerance, respect for diversity and strengthen nationalism in Indonesia’s multicultural context. This research is carried out using a qualitative method with participatory action research. The target of the workshop activity is the history teachers in Malang. The results of the community service show that after the workshop, teachers can develop multicultural-based history e-modules. Moreover, the developed e-modules increase student learning motivation, broaden historical insights with a multicultural perspective, and facilitate teachers in presenting materials interactively. Dissemination of the workshop results are carried out through journal articles, social media, and posters. Furthermore, the multicultural-based history e-modules will be implemented in several high schools to enhance students' understanding of national identity and sense of Indonesian nationalism.</p> <p>Pendidikan sejarah mempunyai peranan penting dalam menanamkan kesadaran kebangsaan dan toleransi diantara generasi bangsa. Namun masih banyak permasalahan terkait pembelajaran sejarah di tingkat SMA, seperti siswa merasa bosan, guru sejarah kurang wawasan kesejarahan, pembelajaran monoton, buku sejarah hanya membahas fakta sejarah dan kurang menekankan multikulturalisme. Apalagi ada kebijakan baru tentang pembelajaran mendalam yang belum dipahami sebagian besar guru sejarah, khususnya guru MGMP sejarah di Malang. Oleh karenanya penting untuk memberikan wawasan kepada guru sejarah dengan mengadakan workshop pengembangan e-modul pembelajaran sejarah berbasis multikultural yang sesuai dengan kurikulum pembelajaran mendalam. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran sejarah berbasis multikultural yang digunakan oleh guru dan siswa tingkat SMA. Selain itu kegiatan ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhan bahan ajar yang mampu menumbuhkan sikap toleransi, menghargai keberagaman, serta memperkuat rasa nasionalisme dalam konteks multikultural Indonesia. Kegiatan ini dilakukan memakai metode kualitatif dengan participatory action research. Sasaran kegiatan workshop adalah guru MGMP Sejarah di Malang raya. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa setelah workshop guru mampu menyusun e-modul sejarah berbasis multikultural. Selain itu e-modul yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, memperluas wawasan sejarah dengan perspekstif multikultural, serta memudahkan guru dalam menyajikan materi secara interaktif. Diseminasi hasil workshop dilakukan melalui artikel jurnal, media sosial dan poster. This article analyzes how historical war experience can serve as a source of strategic learning in the development of Indonesia’s defense doctrine. The research uses a qualitative approach, drawing on a literature review and comparing Indonesia’s experiences with those of other countries. The findings show that war history functions not only as a record of events but also as a strategic testing ground that helps identify patterns of doctrinal adaptation to shifts in threats. In the Indonesian context, the experience of the War of Independence not only gave rise to the concept of Total Defense but also shaped a defense logic rooted in community involvement, which remains relevant for addressing hybrid and asymmetric threats. This study highlights that integrating the philosophical, cultural, and practical dimensions of war history strengthens the conceptual basis for developing a national defense doctrine that is flexible and context sensitive.</p> <p>Studi sejarah perang dalam kajian pertahanan kerap ditempatkan sebagai narasi deskriptif atau pelengkap historiografi, sehingga kontribusinya terhadap perumusan doktrin pertahanan kontemporer belum dikaji secara konseptual. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana sejarah perang dapat diposisikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran strategis dalam pengembangan doktrin pertahanan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui analisis literatur dan perbandingan historis antara pengalaman Indonesia dan beberapa negara lain. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sejarah perang berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai rekaman peristiwa, tetapi sebagai laboratorium strategis yang memungkinkan identifikasi pola adaptasi doktrin terhadap perubahan karakter ancaman. Dalam konteks Indonesia, pengalaman Perang Kemerdekaan tidak sekadar melahirkan konsep Pertahanan Semesta, tetapi juga membentuk logika pertahanan berbasis keterlibatan masyarakat yang relevan untuk menghadapi ancaman hibrida dan asimetris. However, this potential has not been optimally utilized in school learning due to the lack of valid teaching materials and limited accessibility of academic references for teachers. This community service activity aims to enhance teachers' competence in utilizing lokal sites as learning media through the development of research-based teaching materials. The implementation method employs a participatory approach with the <em>Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran</em> (MGMP) of Senior High Schools (SMA/SMK/MA) in Sidoarjo Regency as the partner. The activity series includes Focus Group Discussions (FGD) for needs analysis, workshops on archaeological knowledge transfer, and intensive mentoring for book manuscript drafting. The results show an increased understanding among teachers regarding the historiography and archaeological data of Candi Pari, Candi Sumur, and colonial industrial buildings. The main output of this program is the compilation of a draft titled "Cultural Heritage Site-Based History Learning for High-School," specifically designed as enrichment material for students. This program concludes that collaboration between academics, the designation of cultural heritage buildings in Sidoarjo Regency" and educational practitioners is effective in bridging the gap between scientific archaeological data and the practical needs of history learning in schools.</p> <p>Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki kekayaan situs cagar budaya ragawi (<em>tangible heritage</em>) dari masa Klasik hingga Kolonial yang potensial sebagai sumber belajar sejarah. Namun, potensi ini belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran di sekolah karena minimnya ketersediaan bahan ajar yang valid dan aksesibilitas referensi akademis bagi guru. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan situs lokal sebagai media pembelajaran melalui penyusunan materi ajar berbasis riset. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatoris dengan mitra Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP) Sejarah SMA/MA Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Rangkaian kegiatan meliputi <em>Focus Group Discussion</em> (FGD) analisis kebutuhan, lokakarya transfer pengetahuan arkeologis, dan pendampingan intensif penyusunan naskah buku. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap historiografi dan data arkeologis situs Candi Pari, Candi Sumur, serta bangunan industry gula masa kolonial. Luaran utama dari program ini adalah tersusunnya draf buku "Pembelajaran Sejarah berbasis Situs Cagar budaya untuk Sekolah Menengah Atas" yang dirancang khusus sebagai materi pengayaan bagi siswa. This study aims to analyze the influence of transactional leadership, work discipline, and work motivation on employee performance at the National Road Implementation Agency (BBPJN) East Java–Bali Region III. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and bootstrapping techniques to address potential violations of classical assumptions. The study population consisted of 59 permanent employees in the PPK 3.6 units, all of whom were selected as respondents through total sampling. The results indicate that, simultaneously, the independent variables significantly affect employee performance, with F (3,55) = 63.527; p &lt; 0.001; and Adjusted R² = 0.764. Partially, only work motivation has a positive and significant effect, while transactional leadership and work discipline show no significant effect. The novelty of this study lies in testing the transactional leadership model within the context of a government infrastructure project-based technical organization characterized by experienced human resources and a structured work system. The findings reveal that intrinsic motivation is the dominant factor in improving employee performance. The implications of this study emphasize that strengthening work motivation should become a priority in human resource management strategies. In addition, leadership approaches and work discipline policies need to be adjusted to the characteristics of technical organizations to enhance employee performance effectively.</p> <p>Dalam konteks transformasi birokrasi dan tuntutan akuntabilitas sektor publik, peningkatan kinerja aparatur menjadi isu strategis, khususnya pada organisasi teknis berbasis proyek infrastruktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transaksional, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Balai Besar Pelaksana Jalan Nasional (BBPJN) Jatim-Bali Wilayah III. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain asosiatif kausal. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan bootstrapping untuk mengatasi potensi pelanggaran asumsi klasik. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 59 pegawai tetap pada unit PPK 3.6 yang seluruhnya dijadikan responden melalui total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai dengan nilai F(3,55) = 63,527; p &lt; 0,001; dan Adjusted R² = 0,764. Secara parsial, hanya motivasi kerja yang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, sedangkan kepemimpinan transaksional dan disiplin kerja tidak signifikan. Novelty penelitian ini terletak pada pengujian model kepemimpinan transaksional dalam konteks organisasi teknis berbasis proyek infrastruktur pemerintah dengan karakteristik SDM berpengalaman dan sistem kerja terstruktur. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa motivasi intrinsik merupakan faktor dominan peningkatan kinerja pegawai. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan penguatan motivasi kerja menjadi prioritas strategi manajemen SDM. The research is grounded in the need to ensure that tryouts serve not only as practice tests but also as reliable indicators for projecting students’ success in the final examination. A mixed methods approach with an embedded design was employed, in which quantitative analysis was the primary focus, complemented by qualitative data for triangulation. Quantitative data were obtained from the tryout results of 279 PPG students in Civic and Pancasila Education. The analysis measured validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminating power of the test items. Qualitative data were collected through interviews with five purposively selected students, providing insights into the usefulness of the tryout in helping them understand the structure and model of the Competency Examination. The findings reveal that although some test items showed weaknesses in terms of validity and discriminating power, the tryout overall proved effective in enhancing students’ readiness and served as a predictive tool for success. Consequently, tryouts can be positioned as a pedagogical strategy that strengthens both academic skills and pedagogical content knowledge of future Civic and Pancasila Education teachers.</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas prediktif tes tryout sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur kesiapan mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) bidang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan dalam menghadapi Uji Kompetensi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan untuk memastikan bahwa tryout tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tes latihan, tetapi juga sebagai indikator yang andal untuk memproyeksikan keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam ujian akhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran dengan desain embedded, di mana analisis kuantitatif menjadi fokus utama dan dilengkapi dengan data kualitatif sebagai triangulasi. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil tryout 279 mahasiswa PPG bidang Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengukur validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda butir soal. Data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan lima mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposif. Data tersebut memberikan gambaran mengenai manfaat tryout dalam membantu mahasiswa memahami struktur dan model Uji Kompetensi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun beberapa butir soal masih memiliki kelemahan dari segi validitas dan daya pembeda, secara keseluruhan tryout terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa dan berfungsi sebagai alat prediktif terhadap keberhasilan. This research is grounded in Uses and Gratifications 2.0, particularly in the MAIN model in which it explains that digital media affordances involving modality, agency, interactivity, and navigability plays a role as sources of user gratification in new media environments. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey method involving ITB students who had accessed information about international mobility programs through IRO ITB digital platforms. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistics. The findings indicate that digital media features are associated with students’ satisfaction in accessing institutional mobility information. More specifically, the findings suggest that clear information presentation, user control, interactive features, and ease of navigation are important aspects in enhancing students’ satisfaction with digital information services.</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara fitur media digital dan kepuasan mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi mengenai program mobilitas internasional di Institut Teknologi Bandung. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada Uses and Gratifications 2.0, khususnya MAIN Model, yang menjelaskan bahwa affordances media digital yang meliputi modality, agency, interactivity, dan navigability berperan sebagai sumber gratifikasi pengguna dalam lingkungan media baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei yang melibatkan mahasiswa ITB yang pernah mengakses informasi mengenai program mobilitas internasional melalui platform digital IRO ITB. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner berbasis skala Likert dan dianalisis melalui statistik deskriptif. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur media digital berhubungan dengan kepuasan mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi mobilitas institusional. Sumedang, a regency that simultaneously develops digital and cultural identities rooted in Sundanese tradition and religiosity, offers a unique context for examining digital political communication. Dony Ahmad Munir, a former regent with strong religious roots, and his running mate, Fajar Aldila, who represents a youthful spirit, utilize Instagram to build a strong public image. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis and user interaction methods, focusing on Instagram posts @donyahmad.munir (118 thousand followers, 6,284 posts) during the campaign period of August 28–November 23, 2024. The findings show that Dony Fajar's visual framing strategy includes the use of visual symbolic elements, fashion choices, graphic narratives, and participatory content such as the live program "Magrib Mengaji" and a digital poster design competition with a total prize of Rp2,000,000, involving the public as judges. These strategies effectively shape positive public perception, build symbolic legitimacy, and strengthen emotional connection with young voters. Consistent and interactive visual presentations have been shown to increase audience engagement, reflected in high numbers of likes, comments, and shares, expand the reach of political messages, and strengthen personal branding in the digital space.</p> <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi personal branding calon kepala daerah melalui pendekatan visual framing di Instagram dalam Pilkada Sumedang 2024. Sumedang, sebuah kabupaten yang secara bersamaan mengembangkan identitas digital dan kultural yang berakar pada tradisi Sunda serta religiusitas, menawarkan konteks unik untuk mengkaji komunikasi politik digital. Dony Ahmad Munir, mantan bupati dengan akar keagamaan yang kuat, dan pasangannya, Fajar Aldila, yang merepresentasikan semangat muda, memanfaatkan Instagram untuk membangun citra publik yang kuat. This limitation poses a challenge in preparing prospective professional teachers. This study aims to develop an appropriate, valid and reliable Higher Order Thinking Skills-based test instrument for students of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) in Geography. This study employs the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and trial test results to assess the quality of the test items. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively based on expert judgments and quantitatively through tests of validity, reliability, discrimination index, and item difficulty. The results indicate that the majority of the developed items meet the criteria of validity and reliability, with acceptable levels of difficulty and good discrimination indices. Based on item analysis, some items are suitable for immediate use, others require revision, and a few should be discarded. Therefore, the developed HOTS-based instrument has the potential to be used as an evaluation tool to support PPG students’ examination preparation in Geography.</p> <p>Ketersediaan instrumen penilaian yang mampu mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi masih terbatas, padahal penguasaan keterampilan ini sangat krusial bagi guru agar tidak hanya terpaku pada aspek pengetahuan faktual saja. Kurangnya instrumen penilaian tersebut menjadi kendala dalam mempersiapkan calon guru profesional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrument soal try-out berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) yang layak, valid dan reliabel bagi mahasiswa Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) bidang studi Geografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahap Analyze (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluate (Evaluasi). Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli dan hasil tes uji coba yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas butir soal. Analisis data data dilakukan secara kualitatif berdasarkan penilaian dari validator dan secara kuantitatif melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda, dan tingkat kesukaran butir soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas soal try-out yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid, reliabel, serta memiliki tingkat kesulitan dan daya beda yang baik. Berdasarkan analisis butir, sebagian soal disarankan dapat langsung digunakan, sebagian dapat digunakan dengan revisi, dan sebagian lainnya digugurkan.
