Peran nilai “Trihitakarana” kearifan lokal Suku Tengger dalam kelangsungan konservasi Ranu Pani

Abstract

Conservation is carried out to prevent continuous damage. Efforts must be made to restore conservation conditions so that the sustainability of living creatures and ecosystems remains sustainable. The Tengger tribe has a unique socio-cultural pattern related to the positive behavior of the community in the use of space and the environment. Local wisdom in the use of space and efforts to preserve the environment. The objective of this study is to examine the condition of Ranu Pani, which has experienced degradation due to environmental management that does not comply with conservation principles. The research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research location is in Ranu Pani Village, Lumajang Regency, East Java. Data collection is conducted through observation and literature review. Analysis involves descriptive analysis with a phenomenological approach. The expectation of this research is to determine steps to restore the condition of Ranu Pani in accordance with conservation principles. Thus, the surrounding community in the area can maintain the sustainability of the Ranu Pani ecosystem.
