Abstract

EMPOWERMENT OF THE CREATIVE ECONOMY THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CULINARY BUSINESS NETWORK BANJARMASIN TYPICAL BANANA BREAD CAKE

Pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di era globalisasi menjadi
sesuatu yang sangat krusial. Pengembangan ekonomi ini bertumpu pada kreatifitas, kebudayaan
serta keunggulan lokal yang dimiliki, dan menjadi harapan baru dalam menatap perubahan
ekonomi bangsa di masa mendatang. Pengembangan ekonomi kreatif dapat dilakukan pada
masyarakat di pedesaan, contohnya Desa Kayuambon yang berada disekitaran Lembang,
Kabupaten Bandung Barat dengan salah satu komoditas utamanya adalah pisang. Hanya saja,
pengolahan komoditas tersebut belum maksimal, sehingga belum memberi penambahan
pendapatan yang signifikan bagi masyarakatnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat terkait inovasi berbagai olahan makanan yang
berbahan baku utama pisang, khususnya pengembangan bisnis kuliner roti pisang khas
Kalimantan serta strategi pengembangan jejaring bisnis olahan tersebut sehingga dapat memberi
tambahan pendapatan bagi Masyarakat Kayuambon Kecamatan Lembang. Metode yang
digunakan yaitu action research. Hasil yang didapatkan setelah melaksanakan penelitian, yaitu pengembangan jejaring bisnis kuliner roti pisang khas Banjarmasin, dapat meningkatkan
kesejahteraan masyarakat desa Kayuambon Kecamatan Lembang.

Community empowerment through the development of the creative economy in the era of
globalization is very crucial. This economic development is based on creativity, culture and local
excellence, and is a new hope in looking at the nation's economic changes in the future. Creative
economy development can be carried out in rural communities, for example in Kayuambon
Village, which is located around Lembang, West Bandung Regency, where one of its main
commodities is bananas. It's just that the processing of these commodities has not been
maximized, so it has not provided significant additional income for the community. Based on this,
this research aims to educate the public regarding the innovation of various processed foods
made from bananas as the main raw material, in particular the development of a culinary business
typical of Kalimantan banana bread and a strategy for developing a network of processed
businesses so that they can provide additional income for the Kayuambon Community in
Lembang District. The method used is action research. The results of this research, namely the
development of a culinary business network for Banjarmasin typical banana bread, can improve
the welfare of the people of Kayuambon Village, Lembang District.
