Abstract

this study aims to describe the practice of the five hundred coin awareness movement and the implementation of social justice values through the five hundred coin awareness movement. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Subjects in this study were selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques include direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used an interactive model that includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that the five hundred coin awareness movement is a form of modern mutual cooperation transformation born from the collective awareness of residents. The practice of the five hundred coin awareness movement is carried out voluntarily, organized, and transparently through daily citizen participation and is managed by a driving team. The implementation of social justice values through the five hundred coin awareness movement is seen in the distribution of aid tailored to the conditions of residents, including disaster assistance, health, education, and underprivileged residents evenly and fairly.
